Our Mission
Greater Community Groups, Inc. (GCG) is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation that strives to support the development of groups which seek to advocate on behalf of the residents within their neighborhoods. GCG provides ad hoc groups with the roadmap and tools needed to become effective representatives of their communities by mentoring leadership, developing organizational structure, drafting formal governing documents (by-laws, regulations, etc.), and providing best practices learning.
Our Team
The GCG is governed by a 3-member board of directors. Each organization operating under the GCG is governed by their own, autonomous board that must comply with their operating contract with GCG specifying the formal, legal operations with the foundation. Groups operating under the foundation's 501 C 3 status contract benefit from insurance coverage, website presence, FEIN, as well as, their mentoring services. GCG has no control over any of those groups operating under our umbrella.
