The Colerain Council of Neighborhoods is excited to bring Hamilton County's YOUTH ENGAGEMENT SERVICES to Colerain Township for the first time. While the program has existed in one form or another for over a decade, they have never held an event that helps match youth 4-21 with employers in Colerain Township
We will be following the lead of HCJFS and Talbert House along with the NWLSD to bring jobs for kids and provide Colerain business owners with free employees !
(Yes, we said FREE!)
Send us a message if your business would like to take advantage of this program. We're here to help!
The Colerain Council of Neighborhoods is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those around us. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our neighbors.

The Colerain Council of Neighborhoods held its first solo community-building activity on April 8th with the Total Eclipse of the Park.
It was a wonderful event at Heritage Park, which sat in the path of totality for the eclipse. The Council set a record for attendance at the park. About 200 people attended.
Council volunteers did a NASA-endorsed experiment with the children, all earned NASA sponsored Certificates in their Citizen Scientist Program. Kids played the roulette wheel and won prizes and candy for answering the questions correctly. We also provided everyone with free eclipse glasses.

At the Council, our mission - is YOUR mission. The appearance of Colerain Township is integral to instill respectful behavior of our environment. We are dedicated to activities and Action Plans to improve the aesthetics of Colerain and every neighborhood in it. Each neighborhood has wants and needs. Every neighborhood deserves to be able to improve where they live.
Over the years, we have witnessed 1000s of individuals in our community improve the quality of life in Colerain. Meanwhile, we have seen nearly every citizen committee abolished by the township leadership. The Council will recreate what worked 50 years ago - citizen input on our parks, development, safety, and the overall well-being of our residents and neighborhoods.
There are a variety of needs and wants in Colerain. They are different in each neighborhood. The problem is - as individual neighborhoods - nothing gets done - for any of us. However, as a Council - working together - we have the power to move issues up the ladder.
Action Plans are the collective Citizens' Agenda that is determined by residents forwarded by residents.
The Colerain Council of Neighborhoods youth group is a pro-social group run by our one of our youth who wants to bring the community together.
The youth group will hold monthly meeting to discuss what events need to be done in the community, youth ages 14 - 21 who are in the youth group will have an opportunity to volunteer at community events and be apart of our community as a leader.
If you would like to join our youth group please reach out to Derek Goldschmnidt our Director of Youth Engagement at youth.group@coleraincouncilofneighborhoods.cc
